About Ticket Sales
Each host school (a.k.a. "anchor" school) has a unique link to their tent-specific ticketing site. This link is distributed to their Partner schools so that all alumni associated with the schools can purchase tickets to University Row. For more information on how you can obtain this link, contact the University Row representative for your alumni chapter. Contact information for specific alumni chapters can be found by clicking on the "About University Row" menu above and selecting "Participating Schools".
Ticket Types:
"Tent/Bus" tickets (includes transportation from the Ballston Mall and admission to University Row)
"Tent-Only" tickets (includes admission to University Row, but does not include transportation)
"Car Pass" tickets (allows vehicle access with up to five passengers on Gold Cup's grounds)
University Row is an area along the rail at the Virginia Gold Cup where admittance is by ticket only. It is being hosted this year by several Anchor schools and their "Partner" schools. While each Anchor is allotted a number of tickets to sell, they do not limit you to a specific tent on University Row. Though tents will be associated with an Anchor/Partner group, once you are admitted to our area, there is open access to all University Row tents.
Each Anchor is allotted a number of tickets that they will make available to their alumni and the alumni of their Partner schools. Tickets typically go on sale a month or so before the event. As this is an alumni-oriented event, initial sales are usually made available through each school's local alumni association. Each Anchor is responsible for determing the cost of their school's tickets. As the date of the event approaches, remaining tickets may be made available for purchase through this site.
Parking Passes
There will be a limited number of parking passes available for those who are planning to arrange their own transportation to The Virginia Gold Cup and University Row. These are physical passes that need to be clearly displayed on your windshield for entry to the grounds at Great Meadow. We will mail your parking pass USPS First Class through April 22nd. If you order a Parking Pass after April 22nd, you will need to pay for expedited shipping - or you may pick up the pass at the Virginia Gold Cup Will-Call desk at Great Meadow on May 5th. Will Call is at the filling station across from the main Great Meadow Entrance. Thank you for your cooperation!
